How graceful
The frail leaned in the boat
Passing under Kintai bridge
Shade by serfs and vassal’s faith
The ripple dance touched by pearly hand
While the boatman tells a fairytale
About Asagao in ruins of Honmaru
Hummed the story of gallant vigor
Hush… the frail forlorn
Beg for the valorous could come
From the seas he conquered
Or the landlord he strive for
But she found none
The suitors she adore
Or the noble host she most
Kintai bridge : located in Yamaguchi Prefecture Japan
Asagao : morning glory ( means : willful promise)
Honmaru : Japanese castle built in Edo era
